PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall-mounted signboard and a lighting device to be used for the same which can be formed thin.SOLUTION: A flat-plate lighting device comprises: a plastic plate with light transparency having a pair of thin plates and a plurality of partition walls arranged between the pair of thin plates and having a plurality of thin and long gaps formed by the pair of thin plates and the plurality of partition walls; a plurality of EEFL tubes to be inserted into the thin and long gaps of the plastic plate; a plurality of pairs of connectors to be arranged at electrodes on both ends of each of the plurality of EEFL tubes; the electrodes to connect the plurality of connectors; and an inverter to be connected to the electrodes. A signboard comprises: the flat plate lighting device; and a back plate and frame members to hold the flat-plate lighting device. The plurality of pairs of connectors, the electrodes, and the inverter are arranged between the frame members and the back plate. |
