PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of presenting a video or the like of a plurality of areas in the external peripheral region of a vehicle to be easily understood to a driver without unnecessarily increasing the number of display devices.SOLUTION: This vehicle periphery display apparatus is provided with: image acquisition means; image display means; status determination means; and display area changing means. The image acquisition means acquires a first periphery image and a second periphery image respectively depicting a first area and a second area different from each other in the external peripheral region of a vehicle. The image display means causes display devices 7, 8 provided in a car room to display the first periphery image and the second periphery image acquired by the image acquisition means on one screen thereof. The status determination means determines the traveling status of the vehicle. The display area changing means causes the image display means to enlarge a sub-display area when a predetermined traveling status condition is established according to the determination result of the status determination means with the area of the display screen of the display device on which the first periphery image is displayed set as a main display area and the area on which the second periphery image is displayed set as the sub-display area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
