PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymeric compound showing sufficiently high fluorescence intensity and being suitable to a luminescent material or a charge transport material.

SOLUTION: The polymeric compound contains repeating units shown in a general formula (1-1). In the formula, Rf1and Rg1can be the same or mutually different, and represent a phenyl group or the like, respectively. Rd1and Re1can be the same or mutually different, and represent a hydrogen atom or the like, respectively.
