<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a flat cable with its height restrained to be low and an upper face to be completely shielded. <P>SOLUTION: A back face side of a metal shell 22 of a receptacle 2 is erected to a plug 3 side, and bent so as to surround an upper face side and the back face side, and a shield contact spring part 22a is formed by bending a center side of the receptacle 2 placed at an upper part toward an oblique lower part. The plug 3 is fixed to a plug housing main body 31 so that a plug shell 32 made of a metal plate covers an upper face for not contacting an opposite side face from the receptacle 2 of the plug housing main body 31 with each contact 30, and a facing part of the metal shell 22 of the plug shell 32 forms a shield contact part 32a. Then, at the time of engaging and locking with the plug 3 and the receptacle 2, the shield contact spring part 22a and the shield contact part 32 are pressed and contacted with spring force, thus a shield of a connector 1 is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
