A gantry crane boom rod consists of curved longitudinal (left and right) beams interconnected by front and rear cross bars. The curved longitudinal beams are connected to the front and rear cross bars by hinge assemblies having one degree of freedom in the horizontal plane. At the same time the beams and cross bars have box-shaped cross section and in the area of lower inflection of curved longitudinal beams upper and lower belts in the form of ears are released, which cover the ends of the front cross bar made in the form of sheet ears that are the extensions of the upper and lower belt of the front cross bar. |
