PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a cylinder device of a hydraulic clutch device in a crankcase cover. SOLUTION: This hydraulic clutch device supports a release pinion 40 and a rack shaft 45 with the crankcase cover 2 and removes the rack shaft 45 from the crankcase cover 2 of a wire type clutch device W for engaging and disengaging a clutch by moving the rack shaft 45 back and forth via a clutch wire and the release pinion 40 and provides a piston 15 by attaching a cylinder block 14 around an opening part 11a of a support hole 11 which supported the rack shaft 45. The piston 15 is energized to the support hole 11 side and a cylinder chamber 15e is communicated with the support hole 11. The release pinion 40 is removed, a fluid pipe 13 is attached and an oil passage 13a of the fluid pipe 13 is communicated with the support hole 11 so that the clutch can be engaged and disengaged by forward and backward movement of the piston 15 based on oil pressure from the oil passage 13a.
