PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine allowing an operator to select a language used by the operator as a language to be displayed on a monitor device. SOLUTION: The monitor device 15 connected with a controller 16 is installed on a cab 7. A GPS antenna 10 is connected with the controller 16. When a language setting switch 15B of the monitor device 15 is pressed, the controller 16 specifies a current position of a hydraulic excavator 1 by using signals of a GPS satellite received from the GPS antenna 10, specifies the language which may be used at the current position, and arranges this specified language in a higher rank of a language list L. Consequently, since languages are displayed in order from the higher rank to a lower rank of the language list L on the monitor device 15, the operator can select his desirable language from within the language list L.
