PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse unit capable of suppressing a load acting on a battery post, and a method for assembling the fuse unit.SOLUTION: A fuse unit 1 comprises: a fusible link 2 in which a fuse element blows out when overcurrent flows; a holding mechanism 3 including a base part 31 interposed between a post erecting surface 105 of a battery housing 101 and the battery terminal 110 in a state in which the battery terminal 110 is fastened to a battery post 102 provided on the post erecting surface 105, and a holding part 32 linked to the base part 31 and holding the fusible link 2 on the post erecting surface 105; and a connection member 5 connecting the fusible link 2 and the battery terminal 110 and including a misregistration amount absorption structure 5h absorbing a dimensional misregistration amount between the connection position between the connection member and the fusible unit 2 and the connection position between the connection member and the battery terminal 110 on the connection member side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
