<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation apparatus effectively threatening a suspicious dividual for an antitheft purpose when the suspicious individual is detected around an own vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving a start instruction of a security function and an irradiation direction (first warning irradiation direction) for irradiating respective vehicle front lamps 53 to a vehicle 2 (the own vehicle). i.e. the swinging widths of respective vehicle front lamps 53, through a network 4, a CPU 41 in a navigation apparatus 1 loaded on a target vehicle 5 stores the swinging widths in a RAM 42 (S41 to S42). When receiving a lighting instruction for instructing the lighting of respective vehicle front lamps 53 to the vehicle 2 through the network 4, the CPU 41 in the navigation apparatus 1 loaded on the target vehicle 5 turns on respective vehicle front lamps 53 toward the vehicle 2 (the own vehicle) when a battery residual amount is enough for turning on respective vehicle front lamps 53 (S43 to S45). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
