PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the width of an image in a main scanning direction from being decreased by inclination of a head. SOLUTION: One pixel is added to a position where a dot to be originally printed is shifted by a prescribed pixel in the main scanning direction by virtue of the inclination of the recording head so that the decreasing of the width of an image caused by the inclination of the recording head is controlled. To be more precise, printing is carried out by a nozzle corresponding to a position of which the shift in the main scanning direction is a level of a prescribed pixel (for example, 0.5 pixel) by virtue of the inclination of the recording head and a nozzle corresponding to the next pixel while adding data the same as data to be printed by the nozzle corresponding to the position of which the shift in the main scanning direction is a level of a prescribed pixel (the shaded area in figure 7). At that time, the number of nozzles corresponding to the data is gradually decreased by the insertion of the data to change the relationship between the image data and the nozzles. About two lines to be printed by the identical data, the printing ratio of the two lines is made to be 100%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
