<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner capable of effectively reducing a speckle noise with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the optical scanner, a polarization modulation element 7 makes laser beam L before incident on a scanning projection device 11 incident and emits the incident laser beam L while switching the laser beam L to two different polarization directions every a prescribed time, and an angle modulation element 9 makes the laser beam L emitted by the polarization modulation element 7 incident and emits the incident laser beam L to the scanning projection device 11 at emission angles corresponding to the polarization directions of the laser beam L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
