A method for experimental modeling periodontitis with damage of the connective tissue of periodontium provides for the use of xenobiotics supplied to the rats with drinking water. Cuprenil at a dose of 20 mg/kg is administered with this aim for 55 days in the mode of 5 days of exposure followed by 2-day intervals.
