A network A (10) and a network B (20) which is different from the network A (10) are VPN connected, and when devices (30a, 30b) which are connected from the network A to the network B or from the network B to the network A are operated, the names of the devices (30a, 30b) which are connected to the network A (10) and the network B (20) are displayed on device information display units (126a, 126b) which are connected to the network A (10) and the network B (20). A user who is within the network A (10) and the network B (20) selects the name of a device for transmission, and information such as the name, address and function of the selected devices (30a, 30b) is transmitted and received between an HGW A (100a) and B (100b) (S107). The information for the devices (30a, 30b) connected within each network is transmitted and received between a communication device (HGW) (100a) connected to the first network (10), and a communication device (HGW) (100b) connected to the second network (20) which is different to the first network (10); and when VPN connected, communication is carried out on the basis of the received information. Furthermore, the user can select the device information for transmission. Thus, the disclosed system can easily determine a DLNA device for communication in an other network which is VPN connected, without the provision of an RADA. |
