<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system in which image information is transmitted to a printing device connected on a network to make the printing device print the image information and accurate printing is performed by reprinting processing even when any failure occurs in the printing of the image information. <P>SOLUTION: The printing system 1 is constituted by communicatively connecting a printing device 3 for receiving and printing image information to a printing controller 2 for transmitting image information to the printing device 3. The printing controller 2 is provided with a decision means 2f for deciding the propriety of printing and a transmitting means (I/O means 2a) for transmitting image information. The transmitting means 2a transmits the image information to the printing device 3 based on the decision result from the decision means 2f. The printing device 3 is provided with a receiving means (I/O means 3a) for receiving image information, a printing means 3b using the received image information to perform printing and an image acquiring means 3d for acquiring the print image information from the printed matter.
