<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a magnetic material, by which a magnetic material having superior magnetic properties is surely manufactured by simple operations. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a magnetic material includes mixing a magnetic powder and metal glass having a deformation starting temperature of ≤600°C to obtain a mixed powder, then filling the mixed powder into a mold, press molding the mixed powder in a magnetic field to obtain a molding, and heating the molding to a temperature equal to or higher than the deformation starting temperature of the metal glass by subjecting the molding to discharge plasma sintering in the same mold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
