PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving pharmaceutical compatibility and generality in an external preparation for skin, containing ursolic acid to its derivative. SOLUTION: This external preparation for the skin, such as a cosmetic, comprises (1) anα,ε-bis(γ-N-(10-30C) acylglutamyl)lysine and/or its salt, (2) ceramide and/or its analogue, (3) one or more compounds selected from glyceryl fatty acid esters, polyglyceryl fatty acid esters, and pyroglutamic acid glyceryl fatty acids, and (4) one or more compounds selected from ursolic acid, ursolic acid derivatives, and their salts incorporated in a vesicle to be formulated in a cosmetic or the like. The acyl group in theα,ε-bis(γ-N-(10-30C) acylglutamyl)lysine is preferably lauroyl group, and the ceramide and/or its derivative is preferably ceramide type II or ceramide type III.
