PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique useful in manufacturing a lithium cobaltate oriented sintered plate having orientation, and suitable for a high-capacity lithium secondary battery in such a way that the number of pin holes is reduced.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a lithium cobaltate oriented sintered plate according to the present invention comprises: a green sheet-preparation step for preparing a green sheet including Co raw material and BiO; a green sheet sintering step for sintering the green sheet obtained by the green sheet-preparation step under a bismuth atmosphere with a bismuth source added thereto, thereby preparing an oriented sintered plate having orientation in which (h00)-plane becomes parallel with a sheet face; and a lithium cobaltate oriented sintered plate-preparation step for sintering the oriented sintered plate obtained by the green sheet sintering step under a lithium atmosphere with a lithium source coexisting, thereby preparing a lithium cobaltate oriented sintered plate having orientation in which (104)-plane of LiCoObecomes parallel with a plate face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
