PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growth indicator measuring apparatus which can determine appropriateness of radiation so that significant measurement results can be obtained, and a method for the same.SOLUTION: A plant growth indicator measuring apparatus M comprises: a spot light radiation unit 1 which radiates spot light; a controller 31 which performs on/off control for radiation of the spot light; a plurality of imaging units 2 (2-1, 2-2) which image a measuring object irradiated with the spot light by use of a plurality of wavelength bands that have at least different wavelength band portions each other; a radiation state determination unit 32 which determines whether a radiation state of the spot light satisfies a prescribed condition on the basis of a first image of the measuring object imaged by one of the imaging units 2; and a growth indicator operation unit 33 which obtains, when the radiation state of the spot light is determined to satisfy the prescribed condition, a growth indicator of a plant on the basis of a plurality of second images by the respective imaging units 2 in a case of turning on radiation of the spot light, and a plurality of third images by the respective imaging units 2 in a case of turning off radiation of the spot light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
