Provided is a light irradiation substrate that can respond even in emergencies, suppresses costs, and is capable of irradiating a suitable treatment light regardless of the shape or size of the area to be treated. The center-to-center distance between two adjacent LED chips (13), each belonging to different unit substrates (7) and arranged so as to sandwich therebetween the boundary between two unit substrates (7) adjacent in the X direction (or the Y direction), is no more than twice the distance from center-to-center between two LED chips (13) that are inside a unit substrate (7) and adjacent in the X direction (or the Y direction). A connection unit (10) that connects wiring (12) to the outside is provided in each unit substrate (7), on the rear surface of a flexible substrate (6). |
