PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a degree of freedom of a wiring layout of a magnetoresistance effect element, make an element area small, and reduce a cost even when a restriction exists in a relative arrangement relation between the magnetoresistance effect element and the soft magnetic material.SOLUTION: A magnetic sensor includes: a substrate; a plurality of magnetoresistance effect elements arranged on a surface of the substrate; an insulating layer covering a first wiring, the magnetoresistance effect element, and the first wiring arranged on the surface of the substrate; a soft magnetic material arranged on the insulating layer; and a second wiring arranged on the insulating layer. When two directions orthogonal to each other are set as a first direction and a second direction in the case that the substrate is viewed in plane, each of the plurality of magnetoresistance effect elements extend to the first direction, and is arranged apart in the second direction. The soft magnetic material includes a first direction extension part that extends in the first direction, and when viewed in plane, the first direction extension part is arranged between the magnetoresistance effect elements arranged apart in the second direction, and the second wiring is connected to the first wiring via a through-hole formed on the insulating layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
