<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and an image processing method that perform suitable measurement processing on a work having a plurality of objects as objects of image processing orderly arranged in an input image. <P>SOLUTION: Settings associated with common image processing to be performed on a plurality of processing object areas respectively are received, settings of a reference area for defining the plurality of processing object areas in the input image are received, and settings for orderly defining the plurality of processing object areas based upon the reference area are received. The image processing is carried out on the plurality of processing object areas respectively according to the settings associated with the common image processing, and a whole processing result in which results of the image processing on the plurality of processing object areas are reflected is output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
