A pixel array (100) a display drive method (200) , a display drive apparatus (1100, 2000), and a display apparatus, the pixel array (100) comprising: a plurality of columns of sub-pixel sets (S1, S2, ..., S6), each column of sub-pixel sets (S1, S2, ..., S6) comprising M*N sub-pixels (C1, C2, ..., C9, G1, G2, ..., G9), N being the colour types of the sub-pixels (C1, C2, ..., C9, G1, G2, ..., G9), M being an integer greater than or equal to 3, the twist direction of the sub-pixels (C1, C2, ..., C9, G1, G2, ..., G9) in the odd number columns of the sub-pixel sets (S1, S2, ..., S6) being opposite to the twist direction of the sub-pixels (C1, C2, ..., C9, G1, G2, ..., G9) in the odd number columns of the sub-pixel sets (S1, S2, ..., S6) in the column direction. The present pixel array (100) is suited for application in PenTile technology in a 2D/3D display mode, and effectively improves the visual resolution of a display apparatus. |
