PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport device which enables processing of a transportation object without dislocation of a palette from a driving belt on a transportation path.SOLUTION: A transport device 1 comprises: a rail 11; a toothed belt 21 which includes plural external teeth 20 and circulates (rotates) on a horizontal surface in an annular form; and a palette 5 which includes a fitting groove 7g fitted to the rail 11 and an engagement teeth 8t which are engaged with the external teeth in the state in which the fitting groove 7g is fitted to a first rail, and on which a transportation object OB is loaded. The palette 5 is transported according to rotation of the toothed belt 21 while being guided by the rail 11. The palette 5 and the rail 11 are so made as to be movable in a vertical direction by a specified distance D3. The external teeth 20 and the engagement teeth 8t are extended in the vertical direction. Widths of the external teeth 20 and the engagement teeth 8t in the vertical direction are so set that the engagement teeth 8t can be slid by at least only the specified distance D3 while maintaining engagement thereof with the external teeth 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
