PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder-like fabric in which holes expand sufficiently and are maintained.SOLUTION: A ladder-like fabric A comprises two belt parts A' comprising warp 1 and weft 2 and a ladder part A" having open holes in a row made by contracting every predetermined pieces of weft 2 into cross-link shape between the belt parts. The ladder-like fabric A also comprises: warp 3 for contracting, which is interwoven per a predetermined pieces of weft 2 on both sides of the ladder-like part A"; and a blinding yarn 4, which runs to right and left and is interwoven by leno weaving using a predetermined pieces of weft 2 as a unit so as to intersect with the warp 3 for contracting. The blinding yarn is monofilament yarn and interwoven on both sides of the warp 3 for contracting. The ladder-like fabric A may have at least two rows of ladder-like parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14 |
