PURPOSE: A high pressure generating device of an electric dust collector generating dipolarity which is able to increase a collecting and deodorizing performance is provided. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises: (i) a first electrode which is permitted a positive voltage having a fixed first level to charge dust particles contained in the air inhaled from the outside; (ii) a second electrode which is permitted a negative voltage having a fixed second level to charge dust particles contained in the air inhaled from the outside; and (iii) a deodorizing electrode which deodorizes particles charged from the first electrode and the second electrode.
