An ECU of a vehicle and a reprogramming method of the same are provided to prevent a calibration ID damage by storing the calibration ID for identifying the data in a RAM programming region even if there is a program error while reprogramming. If a calibration ID requirement is received form a scan tool, the calibration ID stored in a first region of a memory device is transmitted to the scan tool. When the calibration ID is confirmed, all the existing programmed data in a second region of the memory device is deleted, and the data received from the scan tool is written in the second region so as to be reprogrammed. The calibration ID stored in the second region is stored again in the first region.
