PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the intrusion of a vehicle door into a cabin of a vehicle at the time of a side collision. SOLUTION: This reinforcement structure for the vehicle door 10 is provided with an impact beam 12 extended to the vehicle longitudinal direction inside the vehicle door 10; an inner side vertical beam 14 arranged in a position corresponding to a vehicle seat 34 and extended to the vehicle vertical direction inside the vehicle door 10; and an outer side vertical beam 16 connected to the impact beam 12, arranged opposing the outer side in the vehicle width direction of the inner side vertical beam 14 and extended to the vehicle vertical direction inside the vehicle door 10. In the case of a side collision, in a position corresponding to the vehicle seat 34 in the vehicle door 10, deformation causing inward creasing in a vehicle front view can be suppressed. By suppressing the inward bending deformation of the vehicle door 10, the intrusion of the vehicle door 10 into the cabin of the vehicle can be suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
