PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device and a radio communication method that can stably control transmission output when performing radio communication using an adaptive modulation system.SOLUTION: A radio communication device (base station 100) according to the present invention is a radio communication device for performing radio communication using an adaptive modulation system. A transmission output control unit 112 controls the transmission output of a radio communication unit 120 by referring to difference between a detected transmission output value and a transmission output regulated value if the radio communication unit performs radio communication by a first modulation system, and calculates difference between current internal temperature and internal temperature when radio communication was being performed by the first modulation system on the basis of a latest output instruction value when radio communication was being performed by the first modulation system, refers to control information and corrects the output instruction value if the radio communication unit 120 performs radio communication by a second modulation system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
