PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin particle which is excellent in concealing ability when it is used as an additive for coating materials or cosmetics, is excellent in ink retention when it is used as an additive for paper painting and is excellent in abrasion ability when it is used as an abrasive. SOLUTION: The resin particle contains (a) a resin and (b) a filler. The particle has a volume average particle size of 0.1-300μm and a shape factor (SF-2) of 110-300, has a shell (S) consisting of at least a part of (b).
