A method and system for establishing tunnel in the evolution network are disclosed. Said method comprises: receiving the home gateway message in the authentication response information; selecting the visited gateway and replacing said home gateway message in the authentication response message with the selected visited gateway address; transmitting the home gateway message in the authentication response message that has been replaced to the access network gateway; notifying the message or address of said home gateway message to the visited gateway; said access network gateway launches the tunnel establishment to said visited gateway; said the visited gateway launches the tunnel establishment to the home gateway. Said system comprises: receiving unit, selecting unit, replacing unit, notifying unit, the first tunnel establishment unit and the second tunnel establishment unit.
