PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of effectively decurling a medium while suppressing excessive heating of the medium.SOLUTION: An inkjet type printer 11 comprises: a conveyance path 25 for conveying roll paper RP; a decurling mechanism 26 which is provided in the conveyance path 25, and holds the roll paper RP to perform decurling by bending the roll paper RP in the direction of correcting the curl of the roll paper RP; and a heater 48 which is provided at a position different from the position where the decurling mechanism 26 is provided in the conveyance path 25 and heats the roll paper RP. The inkjet type printer 11 is configured to be able to execute a heating decurling operation of conveying the roll paper RP so that the roll paper RP is decurled by the decurling mechanism 26 after being heated by the heater 48.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
