PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform analysis/diagnosis of a capillary blood vessel automatically and multifacetedly on the basis of the sharpening of the capillary blood vessel image and the numerical data by proper image processing.MEANS: A capillary blood vessel is imaged by applying visible light and infrared ray to a body part such as nail beds of fingers using a capillary blood vessel observation device 1 and a capillary blood vessel image processing apparatus 21, etc. Concerning the imaged and enlarged image, a local state of brightness of the enlarged image is automatically determined by the reaction-diffusion equation where a state of solution is changed in terms of time, and the configuration of the capillary blood vessel is sharpened by the binarization provided with a directional element based on a local threshold parameter to thereby digitize the morphological characteristics.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
