PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device, processing method, and program which can prevent a terminal device from waiting with no response when a request is received from the terminal device.SOLUTION: An HTTP request for requesting execution of predetermined processing is received, through a USB communication or network communication (S 301). When reception means receives a request for predetermined processing through communication means, transmission means transmits a part of an HTTP response before execution means executes predetermined processing (S 302, S 303). Then, in accordance with the received HTTP request, predetermined processing is executed, and it is determined whether execution means starts execution normally or not (S 304). When it is determined that the execution is normally started, the HTTP response including data based on execution of processing of the execution means is transmitted (S 305), and when it is determined that the execution cannot be started normally, the HTTP response including no data based on execution of processing of the execution means is transmitted (S 306).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
