The punched nut supply system feeds the nuts (1) to a sorter (22). It comprises a hopper (11), on which a supply tube (12) is mounted. This comprises an inlet (13) and supply channels (21). Correct orientation of the nuts is achieved by vibrating either the bunker or the supply tube vertically. An independent claim is included for a nut sorting unit for use with the supply system.
