<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To variably supply a quantity of flux required for transfer depending on the type of an electronic component with a simple structure while minimizing degradation in quality of flux itself. <P>SOLUTION: The device for supplying/recovering flux comprises a transfer belt 12 traveling in one direction and capable of mounting flux F, a flux chamber 14 having a blade 20 abutting against the surface 12A of the transfer belt 12 and capable of storing flux F, a belt guide mechanism 16 for altering the traveling direction of the transfer belt 12 from X1 to X2 at a predetermined position P1, and a drive mechanism 18 for altering the distance L1 between the blade and the predetermined position.
