The cold junction of a thermoelectric device 66 is mounted on a crease beam 61 and attached to the interior of an aircraft body skin 86. The hot junction is attached to a finned heat exchanger 72 which receives heat energy from cabin air which is vented through a vent 85 in an interior cabin wall 85. The temperature difference between the cold outer aircraft body skin and the relatively warm cabin air is sufficient for low power applications. |
