<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To encourage a consumer to use a system for providing information on merchandise by presenting the emissions of greenhouse gas produced by distribution of the merchandise, such as foods. <P>SOLUTION: A merchandise chart management server is provided with an emission specification table DB 21 for storing an emission specification table in which a conveying mobile object for conveying the merchandise is associated with the emissions of the greenhouse gas per unit moving distance. A request to provide information on the emissions of the greenhouse gas related to conveyance of predetermined merchandise is received via a communication network 50. In response to the reception of the request, on the basis of a distribution history included in the emission specification table and a merchandise chart, the emissions of the greenhouse gas related to conveyance of the predetermined merchandise is derived, and the derived emissions information is provided via the communication network 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
