PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage system arranged so that an excessive large charging current can be prevented from being caused to flow in generating electric power by an inexpensive structure.SOLUTION: A battery system 10 comprises: a first battery 202 connected to a power generator 12; a second battery 206 connected to the power generator 12 in parallel with the first battery 202; and first and second battery switches 205 and 209 for switching connection states of the first and second batteries 202 and 206. The battery system 10 switches, by processing by a controller 200, the first and second battery switches 205 and 209 so that the second battery 206 is charged from the first battery 202 when an estimated current which is expected to flow in the case of connecting the power generator 12 to the second battery 206 is equal to or larger than a rate value of current of the second battery 206.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
