Provided are a data processing method and device. The method comprises: acquiring data from an electricity meter of an advanced metering infrastructure (AMI); acquiring a predetermined detection action corresponding to the data; and detecting whether the data is correct according to the predetermined detection action. The present invention addresses the problem in the related art of incapability in effectively detecting and correcting the data collected by the AMI, thus enabling detecting, estimating, and editing data read from the electricity meter and ensuring the accuracy of data in the system. |
