<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device adapted to improve productivity of an automobile by suppressing vibrations propagated from a steering column to a steering wheel. <P>SOLUTION: In the electric power steering device in which the steering column 2 is vertically swingably supported on a vehicle body side member 3 through a tilt hinge part H, and a motor case 5 of an electric motor M is connected to a gear case 4 disposed in the steering column 2, and steering force is assisted by the electric motor M, the tilt hinge part H is disposed between the vehicle body side member 3 and the motor case 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
