The invention relates to a stamp band (1) for settable stamps, in particular for date stamps, and to a method for the production thereof, comprising at least one woven fabric (4) made of a weft thread (2) and a number of warp threads (3), in particular made of a cut woven fabric tube (23). The woven fabric (4) is embedded in a rubber impression material (5) using a vulcanisation process, wherein a number of printable characters (6) for a stamp impression and/or optionally readable characters (7) for a reading region (9) are formed in the rubber impression material (5). The weft thread (2) is made of polyamide or polyester and the warp threads (3) are made of cotton, and the weft thread (2) has a diameter of between 0.03 mm and 0.2 mm, or a textile measurement unit of between 80 and 200 Dtex, wherein the weft thread (2) or the entire woven fabric (4) is wetted with an adhesion agent (17). |
