PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte support type cell for a solid oxide type fuel battery such that even when a plurality of electrolyte support type cells are stacked, trouble such as a crack hardly occurs to a peripheral edge of an electrolyte sheet.SOLUTION: An electrolyte support type cell 1 for a solid oxide type fuel battery includes an electrolyte sheet 11, a fuel electrode 12 which is provided on one main surface of the electrolyte sheet 11 and in a region except a peripheral edge of the electrolyte sheet 11, and an air electrode 13 which is provided on the other main surface of the electrolyte sheet 11 and in a region except the peripheral edge of the electrolyte sheet 11. At a peripheral edge height of the electrolyte sheet 11, which is based upon a sheet surface in a region where the fuel electrode 12 or the air electrode 13 of the electrolyte sheet 11 is formed, found by irradiating a peripheral edge surface of the electrolyte sheet 11 with laser light by using a laser optical type three-dimensional shape measuring device and taking a three-dimensional analysis of reflected light thereof, a maximum value of a difference (&Dgr;h) between a height (h1) of the electrolyte sheet peripheral edge and a height (h2) at a position which is 3 mm inside the peripheral edge is 50 μm or less. |
