PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device, etc., wherein stripes caused by joint lines are prevented from being observed to the utmost in an image projected on an optical sheet with the joint lines. SOLUTION: As for the image forming device including the optical sheet 21 which is formed by mutually joining more than one sheet members 21b and 21c through the joint line 21a and an image projecting device 1 for forming an image and projecting the image toward the optical sheet 21 by a projecting optical system 20, the reflection of light and the diffusion of light at the joint line 21a are suppressed to a minimum by setting the relative positional relation between the image projecting device 1 and the optical sheet 21 so that the optical axis O of the projection optical system 20 for the image projecting device 1 vertically crosses the joint line 21a of the optical sheet 21.
