SUPERCHARGER EQUIPPED WITH AIR INTAKE RETURN PASSAGE FROM INTERCOOLER OUTLET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharger which can prevent effective energy loss owing to disposing of the part of pressurized air intake, so as to prevent air intake from excessively supercharging.

SOLUTION: In the supercharger of an internal combustion engine, before introduced into the internal combustion engine, the air intake pressurized by a supercharging compressure is cooled by an intercoller. The part of air intake is selectively returned from the outlet of the intercooler to the inlet of the compressor via an air intake return passage. A gas liquid separator is provided in the air intake return passage.
