<p>The joint (3) has an adhesive (8) provided between two components (4, 5) i.e. sheet plate. An edge (6) of the component (4) is taken back in an opening area. An edge (7) of the component (5) is curved in an overlapping area around the edge of the component (4) and not curved in another opening area around the edge of the component (4). The adhesive is arranged in the overlapping area of the component (4) and projected into the opening areas of the component (4). A sealing compound (10) is arranged along the overlapping area and a section of the opening areas of the component (4). An independent claim is also included for a method for making a glued and sealed folded joint.</p>
