PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a governor and an elevator device which require no opening part for inspection and can perform trip operation even when a remote controller cannot be installed inside a hoistway.SOLUTION: A governor 200 includes: a sheave 3 on which a governing rope 1 connected to a lifting body is wound; pendulums 4 and 5; a balancing spring 20 (pendulum energizing member); a toothed ratchet 6 (rotor); an operation piece 7; a shoe mechanism 8; and an operation piece operating mechanism 9. The operation piece operating mechanism 9 has a wire 42 connected to the operation piece 7, and a wire gripping part 43 gripping the wire 42 by generating frictional force between itself and the wire 42, and makes the operation piece move and engage with the pendulums before being turned by centrifugal force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
