The present disclosure relates to a method performed in a forklift truck of determining the state of a device in the fork lift truck. The method comprises a first step of determining a first value of at least one parameter related to an operating condition of the device based on a computational model of the at least one parameter. In a next step, a second value is determined of the at least one parameter from a sensor in the fork lift truck sensing the parameter directly or indirectly. Next, a difference is determined between the first value and the second value. Thereafter, in the following step, the state of the device is determined based on the difference. |
