PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of enhancing water-discharge property. SOLUTION: In a groove (lug groove 41) communicated with a circumferential groove 3 and a groove (lug groove 42) having a curved part of grooves formed on a tread surface 2, a surface side first recession/projection part 51 advanced to a groove bottom side and inclined in a water-discharge direction is formed on first groove wall surfaces 41a, 42b at a surface side area and a surface side second recession/projection part 53 advanced to a tread surface side and inclined in the water-discharge direction is formed on second groove wall surfaces 41b, 42c at the surface side area. A groove bottom side first recession/projection part 52 advanced to the tread surface side and inclined in the water-discharge direction is formed on the first groove wall parts 41b, 42c at the groove bottom side area and a groove bottom side second recession/projection part 54 advanced to a groove bottom side and inclined in the water-discharge direction is formed on the second groove wall surfaces 41b, 42c. By these recession/projection parts, a surface side swirl L is positively formed at the surface side area and a groove bottom side swirl M is positively formed at the groove bottom side area by water flowing in the lug grooves 41, 42.
