PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an anisotropic conductive film more excellent in conductivity in a film thickness direction and an insulation property in a film face direction than a prior art, as well as an anisotropic conductive film. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the anisotropic conductive film at least includes a film-forming process for forming a porous film equipped with a number of hole parts and made of polymers, a filling process for filling conductive particles in the hole parts of the porous film so as not to be piled in a hole depth direction, and a fixing process of fixing the conductive particles filled in the hole parts to the hole parts. Formation of the porous film is preferably made by a method of dissolving polymers in an organic solvent inmiscible with water and volatile, and placing a supporting body with this polymer solution cast under a high-humidity atmosphere.
