Disclosed are a system and method for providing a neighborhood search service using POI clustering techniques. A neighborhood search method implemented by a computer comprises the following steps of: checking search request information input through an electronic device; displaying a map screen on a screen of the electronic device; checking a search result to be displayed on the map screen based on the checked search request information; dividing the map screen into a plurality of tiles; and displaying a search result included in each of the divided tiles as one search result icon corresponding to each of the divided tiles, wherein search result icons to be displayed on each of the divided tiles are differentiated according to the number of the search results included in one tile and displayed.
